Prescriptions

We have a few ways available for patients to order repeat prescriptions. You can order online, email, repeat slip or telephone. Please list the items by name, and only order what you need. Unused medication is costly for the NHS.

We ask that you to allow 72 hours (3 working days) before collecting your dispensed repeat prescription

Dispensing Patients

As a rural practice, we can dispense medication to patients who live more than 1 mile from a dispensing chemist. This means you are able to collect your medication directly from the practice.

Electronic Prescription Service

Patients who live within 1 mile of a dispensing chemist will have their prescriptions sent directly to their nominated pharmacy or can call into any pharmacy to have their prescription filled by giving them the token number of the prescription.

Online Ordering

Repeat prescriptions can be ordered online via patient access. (Button Below) We ask that all patients try and order their medication this way as it is the most efficient.

Email Requests

Repeat requests can be emailed over to us. Please make sure the email has your full name, date of birth and the name of each medication you wish to order. Our email is gp.g82691@nhs.net

Repeat Slips

Repeat slips are given when you collect your medication from the surgery or pharmacy. These are often found in your prescription bag. Please tick each item you require and drop into the surgeries letter box.

Telephone

We do take prescriptions requests over the telephone for those who are unable to use any of the above ways. When you call please have the names of the medication you need to hand. Please call on 01622 863030.
